Are you the tour operator or a salesperson?
Bahama Sailing Charters is the web site of the tour operator conducting charters on Amura II, Whispers II, and Magic Life. Reserving your tour through our web site enables you to bypass the middlemen, resellers, and brokers that dominate the luxury charter business. Instead, you'll be able to work directly with our team to plan your tour.
Can you accommodate special food and drink requests?
We're more than happy to address special requests from our guests. Our on-board chefs are highly trained and have extensive experience accommodating guests with food allergies, dietary restrictions, and other concerns. Please provide us with advance notice of your requests and we'll make every effort to meet your needs.
Do we have to depart at a set time?
You will see that default departure times have been posted on our online calendar. However, we'll make every effort to accommodate the preferences of our guests.
How many boats do you operate?
We operate three boats: two 56-foot Lagoon 560 catamarans (Amura II and Whispers II) and one 67-foot Predator 64 motor yacht (Magic Life). All of our boats are maintained in first-rate condition and include the amenities you would expect on a luxury craft. The catamarans sleep eight guests; the yacht, six. Your choice depends on personal preference. The Magic Life provides greater range and the thrill of speed, while the Amura II and Whispers II promise the open air experience of sailing. Each boat is staffed by a two-person crew.
Is the reservation process secure?
Our web site employs industry-standard encryption to protect your personal information when you make a payment. The information we collect on the checkout form is required by financial institutions to verify your identify. We do not record your credit card number.
What forms of payment do you accept?
You will need to pay a deposit to make a reservation. You may make a credit card payment through our secure online transaction system using Visa, Mastercard, or Discover. If you reserve far enough in advance, you have the option of paying for your deposit by check. You may also pay your balance payment by credit card.
Why haven't I received an email confirming the reservation I made?
Our reservation system automatically sends out a confirmation email when you complete your booking online. Unfortunately, overzealous spam filters often misdirect automated emails. If you can't find our email in your "inbox", you probably need to check the "spam" folder of your email account.
if you have a Hotmail, MSN, or Live email account, delivery was probably blocked by Microsoft's SmartScreen. You will need to adjust the options of your email account to add bahamasailingcharters.com to your list of "safe senders". Once you have made the change, please email us and we will be happy to resend your confirmation email.
Your online reservation system is not working. Can I call someone to book a tour?
Unfortunately, using the Internet is not without frustration. If you're having difficulty making a reservation online, you might want to check the privacy and security settings of your web browser. Your browser must accept "cookies" if you wish to book your tour online. There are other technical reasons, such as firewalls and anti-spyware programs, that may interfere with your ability to use the online reservation system.
Of course, we'd be happy to handle your reservation by telephone. Please call our customer support office in the United States at 401-946-4544.

Can we customize our itinerary?
We have developed a suggested itinerary for each of our charters. However, the decision belongs to you. Your only constraints are time and safety.
