 Charter Description

Sometimes an overnight getaway is all it takes to recharge your batteries, and there's no better place than the Exuma Islands. Long known as a refuge for celebrities and royals, the archipelago begins just 35 miles south of Nassau and features some of the most scenic vistas in all the Bahamas.

Our overnight Exuma Islands Getaway focuses on the northern cays of the island chain. The crown jewel of the area is Highbourne Cay -- a 500-acre island of impeccable beauty. Highbourne Cay boasts eight beaches. East Beach has rightly earned fame with its three miles of powdery sand. Fortunately, fame has not attracted a crowd. In fact, Highbourne's beaches are often deserted.

Highbourne Cay is also the site of one of the Caribbean's oldest shipwrecks, with the anchor still visible at the dingy dock. The island's sheltered harbor made it a favorite hideout for pirates. In more recent times, Highbourne was covered with vibrant fields of aloe vera. Today's Highbourne Cay is best known for its world-class marina and magnificent views.

Our crew is ready to help you make the most of your time in the Exumas. If snorkeling is your passion, we have the gear and guides available, along with an underwater camera. For deep-sea fishing, there are two rods aboard. Bonefish, known locally as the "grey ghost", is abundant in the Exumas and a favorite among anglers. There are also kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and wakeboards. Bicycles are available for rent to tour the beaches.

When you book your tour with us, you can be assured that you are reserving directly with the operator of your excursion, not with a distant reseller. You'll receive the personalized attention that comes naturally from a two-person crew with many years of experience on the water.

Likewise, our 67-foot Predator 64 motor yacht marries comfort and convenience in a sleek Sunseeker design. You'll be won over by well-appointed cabins, showers, ample seating, a panoramic sunroof, a hydraulic swimming platform, sun pads in the bow and stern, teak side decks, and first-rate entertainment systems. But who wants to stay below deck when the warm Caribbean beckons? You and your guests have easy access to the water from two step-off platforms built into the stern of the boat. A turbojet dinghy is available for shore excursions. With a top speed of 35 knots, our luxury yacht has the power to thrill without sacrificing a smooth ride.

We are fortunate to have a seasoned chef aboard who specializes in international cuisine. You can look forward to meals that are not only delicious, but presented with a natural beauty and elegance to match your surroundings. Snacks, featuring local fresh fruit, are always available for our guests, as well as a full range of beverages. We're also happy to customize menus for vegetarian and gluten-free meals, and accommodate other special requests. A beachside BBQ is also an option.
