Oil, toxic wastes, plastic, and other byproducts of our civilization are dumped into the ocean every single day. As a result, marine life is dying and habitats are suffering. The whole oceanic ecosystem is threatened by various sources of pollution. The world is changing all around us as a result of human activity.
At Bahama Sailing Charters, company owner Christian Atal Kattan and every member of his team are dedicated to helping reverse this trend. Our mission is to use a minimal amount of plastic and aluminum, recycle the trash we produce, and leave nothing behind except your footprints, while at the same time enabling our guests to enjoy the natural beauty of the ocean and the islands.
Marine preservation is very important to us. Wherever possible, the captain and crew take pride in clearing trash and debris from the waters and beaches we visit. We also encourage other boats and visitors to do the same. By consistently doing our part, we hope others will learn from our example. Because we see these islands and the surrounding waters as our common home, we are deeply committed to preserving nature's paradise for future generations. We invite our guests to join with us in celebrating and safeguarding the splendor of the Bahama Islands and the British Virgin Islands.
